3G’s New Music Mixed

3G’s new tracks were recorded and mixed by GMG Recording Studio.

After recoding at GMG Recording Studio in downtown Long Beach, 3G had nothing but confidence when he asked Joseph to mix the entire album. 3G had totally trust in the abilities of the people he was hiring. He didn’t know it, but his mind would soon be blown. The mixing sounded professional and the little things Joseph added brought a unique element that helped make the album special.

We are looking forward to the new 3G release near the end of Summer.

3G is very happy and eager to start working on more music.

We know how to make it great.

3Gs Got the Demons Runnin’

3Gs came to me a while back looking for some beats.

I hooked up the beats he liked and now he is back to track.

3G is recording his new tracks here at GMG.

GMG is Mobile!

Yes, we are mobile.

Actually, we have been mobile, but I’ve been too busy to post about it.

Here I am with Lou getting ready to record some guitar.

Facial hair is important when capturing massive guitar tone.

He wanted to do solo guitar renditions of some songs for church.

This is one of the configurations that worked well.

All we needed was some space, and his garage was perfect.

The garage provided a smooth and natural reverberation.

Lou felt very comfortable and recorded his tracks in one or two takes. I remember him telling me it was easier than he thought it would be.

Some clients prefer recording at home. No Problem, I can do it.

A Gift for his Wife

It’s been a busy month, but I was able to help a client record and complete a CD for his wife. He loves his wife so much he decided to record his vocals over some of their favorite songs.

He brought his favorite Karaoke CDs and we recorded. I was able to go online to get lyrics we didn’t have and he was well prepared so sessions went smoothly.

His wife is going to love the CD

Yumina’s Demo Session

Yumina is working on a Demo CD and she decided to come to GMG.

Good choice!

Yumina came in to record her vocals for “A Whole New World”,

the hit single from the 1992 movie Aladdin. (Composed by Alan Menken with lyrics by Tim Rice.)

We should be seeing more of Yumina at the studio soon.
